- I live in a caravan on my own croft in Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands. Myself & Jim my partner are building our own house. It is taking rather longer than I thought it would as we are doing it ourselves.
Ogh, for goodness sake! There's pictures and all! It's GREAT so it is. A heck of a lot better than Oonahverse! I love it :)

When the house is up - goodness knows when, we'll build a simple bothy down the croft for people who want to be quiet for a time. It will be circular, or oval with a turf roof and little in the way of 'mains' - no phone line, mains electric...........
It could be a retreat for writeworders, such as yerself.
