Fat cat helps raise a brood.

Fat cat (who is about 20 years old) was put to good use when the electrickery went off for several hours on Tuesday. Some eggs were starting to hatch in the incubator & we did try & keep as many as possible warm in our hands. I popped some others in Fat cat's volumptious folds of fur. He slept on oblivious until one started pipping loudly & hatched out.

The Sun returneth

On the 15th Jan the Sun hits the croft again & you feel it in your bones & brain. We miss the sun so on the 15th we light the Choille fire............................
